Gerard A. Inanacone entered service on February 27th, 1943 and served 14 months in the pacific from 1943-1945 as a night low altitude radar navigator-bombardier with 868th Bomb Squadron (The Snoopers), reaching the rank of 1st Lieutenant He flew 505 combat hours. He was honorably discharged on September 17th, 1946.
He served a second tour from September 18th, 1946 until April 8th, 1947 and reached the rank of Master Sergeant.
He was the brother of Albert S. Ianacone
