During an attack against the enemy, Private First Class Mohr, with utter disregard for his own safety moved forward over fire swept terrain to an extremely exposed position, administered first aid to two wounded comrades, and assisted in carrying them to a place of safety. The daring initiative and high sense of loyalty displayed by Private First Class Mohr reflect great credit on himself and are in keeping with the highest traditions of the military forces of the United States."
