Piet Cramerus flew in the Dutch East Indies and later taught advanced combat techniques at the Royal Netherlands Military Flying School in Jackson Mississippi. He later joined the RAF No. 322 (Dutch) Squadron for the duration of the war and served some time as Flight A Commander. After the war he emigrated to the United States of America.
