During a counter-attack on the enemy, that had been broken through the cordons, in the night of April 13 on 14, 1941 in Tobruk in Libya, Corporal Edmondson touched seriously wounded. Then, during this attack he saw that two Germans attack an officer. Edmondson assists, in spite of its heavy wounds, the officer and eliminates both enemies. But nevertheless short time later he died as a result to its injuries of this action.
