For exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of oustanding service as leader of a resistance group in the Netherlands. Colonel Six assisted the Deputy Commander of the Interior Forces of the Netherlands in the organization and fusion of all groups and then became leader and commander of all armed resistance personnel with special tasks, an assignment which he discharged with great distinction.
